This morning, I walked into the office lounge to prepare my coffee. Dr. B was tipping a packet of Sweet'n Low into his mug, and my heart skipped a beat. Those who have known me for a while know that I am not only addicted to diet soda, but to that most exquisite of artificial sweeteners, Sweet'n Low. I've been trying to kick the habit for years, but to no avail, although I have been able to cut back from a whole packet to a half. I don't seek it out, only accept it when it appears in front of me, which it never did at my workplace. Until today. "Dr. B, where'd you find that Sweet'n Low?" I asked. "Oh, it's behind the sugar. But you can have the rest of mine; I only use half a packet." A man after my own heart.
