An excellent haircut is the best accessory. This is what I am saying to myself right now as I look at shoes online that I can't afford. I don't need shoes if my hair looks good, is what I'm saying here. I love getting my hairs cut more than anything in the world, except grocery shopping and yarn. If anyone doesn't already know my current salon recommendation, it's Oxenrose. It's no Bishops (I miss the PBR and the punkitude), but their haircuts are cheap by "real salon" standards; forty-ish bucks. I've paid $75 for less detailed haircuts. That's all. It's 1 AM and I can't sleep, therefore, unsolicited advice.
