I'm pleased to say that my final day of apheresis was successful. I got to see the big bag of stem-cell laden blood that proved it. I watched two episodes of Deadwood on the built-in DVD player. I forgot about the plentiful sex scenes and hoped that the tiny Indian lady next to me didn't look over to see some old-West style humpy-humpy.
Also, my return to health was timely, as I had my first day as Teacher Polly today. I'm working at a private tutoring company, helping kids write their college application essays, and I was so, so nervous, as I am when I start anything new. But it went pretty well, I think.
