Busy Bee

In between my strenuous schedule of fingernail-painting, making coffee, reading other people's blogs, figuring out which earrings to wear, reading books I've already read, baking banana bread, watering my plants, knitting, finding ways to get money without working, and drinking tons of wine, I've been trying to squeeze in a little writing on the side.

For heaven's sake. It's hard to focus on being a famous writing graduate student when all this life experience keeps getting in the way.

dear crystal piece,
i don't want to be a famous writer, i just want to be a famous graduate student. :) thank you for the words of encouragement. as for your question, it's hard for me to think of myself as a writer w/o thinking of myself as a person, and as a person, i fear a kazillion things! are you talking about writerly fears (misspelling, bad grammar, total failure) or personal fears (aliens, dogs, gristly steaks)?
