Christopher Meloni...the finest actor of our time.

I didn't think the amazing comedic talent of serious Law and Order actor Chris Meloni could have been topped after his turn as Gene, the Vietnam vet whose best friend is a can of corn, in Wet Hot American Summer.

So I was pleasantly surprised to find himappearing in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, as a sexually free and boil-covered bumpkin named Freakshow. GENIUS. This man's career is a testament to...well, I don't know what, but I support it entirely.

In other news, I'm still trying to get comfortable in my new apartment. I'm like an 80-year old woman; I need like three glass-doored hutches to hold and display all my knicknacks. After spending over $100 at Ikea, I seem to have returned with no shelves, but more knicknacks. Oops.

Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to light a basement apartment? I'm having a difficult time making it not look like a dungeon in here.

Love,
Polly

Did you get a spam comment Polly? I'm tempted to check out his blog, but if Bianconero is just some dude trying to get hits, I'll have nothing to do with that!

and i once did live in a basement apt, on the corner of nw 18th and couch streets. my answer to you would be lamps. the overhead light will make you feel like you live in a hovel every time. go for lamps that shine up.
