Honesty...is Such a Lonely Word...

This is not a sign that things are bad. Things, as I have mentioned before, are great.

But sometimes, you find yourself eating a Mexican Pizza with a spoon at 9:30 AM, and nothing can change that fact.

I thought it would be nice to share this little glimpse into what my world is really like, which is often disgusting beyond compare. But, I mean, seriously, there's not that much difference between an omelette and a Mexican Pizza. Uh-oh. No excuses, Polly. No excuses. To be even more honest, I'm actually impressed that I've woken up before 10 this morning. My school schedule, while taxing, so far has allowed me to sleep in constantly. Sometimes it feels good, sometimes it feels awful.

Oh, Crystal Piece, what's your secret? Why can't I get up at 6 AM and start writing, like you? Or are you secretly playing video games?

Someday I will stop being so lazy, stop eating Taco Bell, and "Get Full-OnValue" out of my life. Soon, soon.

I too, long to be as motivated as that Crystal Piece. But I've yet to find the muse that compels me to wake early from my slumber, to pursue more creatively satisfying activities.

oh my god, I would kill for that mexican pizza. If I could magically deliver any food to my table right now, that would be it. There is nothing remotely mexican here. And Nate doesn't get up at 6 anymore, so don't be too hard on yourselves. Although, Alex does keep asking to play video games on the computer, and I still can't figure out how he ever learned the words "video games".

One of the few things (that I can remember) that I learned in one of my college courses (nutrition course, to be exact) was that Taco Bell aka "Taco Hell" or "Toxic Well" WHATEVER! has each of the food groups in most of the items in their menu. Let's just take that tastey Mexican Pizza for instance...It has the shell which is from the bread group. It has the "beef" which is from the meat group. It has tomatoes/onions which is from the vegetable group. And cheese which is from the dairy group. So, honey, you might as well top it off with a ChocoTaco which is from the top of the pyramid in the sugar/sweets group. Go ahead and feel no qualm about it....MAKE THAT RUN FOR THE BORDER!
